About Design/Build Contracting

This service is ideal for busy clients who prefer to be indirectly involved and want a "one-stop shop" approach. This collaborative approach involves the contractor its consultants, working directly with the client, resulting in a lump-sum contract with full liability on the contractor. The contractor is solely responsible for all construction aspects from inception to turnkey turnover, including trade and supplier awards, production scheduling milestones, and deficiencies. Payment is made through progress draws until completion.

Project managers that don’t offer this service will tell you it’s the more expensive route to go, this couldn’t be further from the truth. If you want to put all the liability on your contractor and you want your project to be fast tracked, this is the way to go.
